From 1959 to 1971 Scheler (1923-2018) was professor, institute director and at times rector at the University of Greifswald and from 1979 to 1990 penultimate president of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR. From 1978 to 1989 he was a member of the Central Committee of the SED. - The entries in German, French, Russian, English and others on the occasion of visits to the Pharmacological Institute in Greifswald, the 5th meeting of the Association of Industrial and University Pharmacologists of the GDR 1962 in Stralsund / Greifswald, an exhibition of the Academy of Sciences 1987 by participants from Prague (Mudr Josef Musil), Hungary (Julius Papp), Zagreb, Moscow, Bulgaria etc., the entries were published in the German, French, Russian and English languages. - Well maintained overall. - Including: "Archival records in original and copy from the history of the Academy of Sciences concerning the 'Theatrum Anatomicum'" on Scheler's 65th birthday.
