Marked: artist's mark, 800 German hallmarks, workshop mark TM (embossed)., Only two more copies of the brooch are known. Fritz Esche had donated three of these brooches as prizes for the first three places in the women's singles tennis tournament, which took place in 1908. Gertrud Esche finished in 3rd place.
