The 59.8cm blade cut with a hi on each side, signed Bishu Osafune Sukesade and dated 1515, iron nanako fuchi and kabuto-gane decorated with dragons with gold details, shakudo and gold menuki with a snail and a fly on a broom, mokko-shaped iron tsuba chiselled with a dragon, gold details, in its black ishime lacquered saya with mounts including koi-guchi, kurikata and kojiri en suite with the tsuka.
