The 62.1cm blade carved with a dragon and ken horimono on the omote, signed Omi no Kami Fujiwara Tsuguhiro, the tsuka with copper fuchi and kabuto-gane engraved with tendrils, gilt mon menuki, aoi shaped copper tsuba with dai-seppa, in its gold nashiji lacquered saya decorated with ho-ho birds and foliage in gold lacquer, the mounts all en suite with the tsuka, doe skin ashi.
