A Dutch cut-glass and silver epergne A two-tiered centerpiece of shaped cut-glass dishes culminating in a trumpet vase. The stem of two intertwining branches and smaller branches with hanging fuchsias. On a shaped raised foot embossed with flowers and scrolls. Two engraved cartouches on both sides. The makers' mark illegible due to additional coating of silver that was applied at a later date. The original date; marked 1857 is legible. 835/1000. H. ca. 78 cm.
