Each side of the bulbous midsection is decorated with a raised beast mask. The neck, body and foot are each decorated with a dragon and a phoenix amongst flower scrolls above tumultuous waves. The rim with a keyfret chain with a band of ruyi heads to the midsection. The rim with a Chinese wanli six character mark.The base is unglazed.
