The ewer is fashioned with a gilt bronze spout stemming from a markara's mouth, the body is decorated with scrolling lotus and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, all below a central blue-enamelled column and yellow-enamelled upper section decorated with bats and peaches. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
