A RARE BLUE AND WHITE CUPSTAND?PERIOD OF HONGWU Size: 19.5 cm (D) With shallow rounded sides divided into twelve bracket foliations, rising to a barbed everted rim, exquisitely painted in shades of grayish blue with ‘heaping and pilling’ depicting blossoms and foliage, encircled around the sides by detached sprays of peony and chrysanthemum, all framed by a border of cresting waves emitting white foam.
