Autograph MANUSCRIPT (fragment), [1960]; 1 page in-8 format, in pencil; in English.
Fragment of a rough draft of a declaration of his withdrawal from the primary election in California during the Presidential Campaign of 1960, in favour of the popular Democratic Governor of California Pat Brown. Kennedy does not want to risk disunion tied to a contended primary and thus accepts to withdraw from the primary election. However if any other candidate should enter the race, he will contend: “However, if another candidate other than the favorite son Mr. Brown should enter I shall feel obliged to enter also”.
