A 19th century toleware tea caddy The hinged top with lacquered brass finial, above the bowed tapering main body, the front decorated with a farmstead scene, standing on four lacquered brass ball feet. 12 cm wide.
Paint wear/loss, some misshaping, splits to corners of back of lid, general wear.
