A 19th century mahogany travelling apothecary case Of hinged square section form, the internally segmented hinged top above a baize lined writing slope, the main body enclosing five fitted drawers, each enclosing various apothecary bottles and hinged metal drug compartments, each drawer with a recessed brass handle, the sides with twin carrying handles. 35.5 cm wide; 35.5 cm high.
Splits to top, some scuffing and scratching, baize worn, four bottles lacking, some small damages to some bottles, some paint wear/loss of labels to bottles, some small damages around hinge area, metal stay lacking, two small sections of beading to inner top rim lacking, general wear.
