dating: 1520/30 provenance: Florence, In iron, dagger-shaped, with double blade (legs), sharpened and of six, irregular facets. The two halves in one piece with the grip. Fixed to the pommel with a hinge, with disks separated by the thin, copper circles, the two sides adorned with flowers in relief. Quillon with quillons curved downwards, ending in flowers, similar to those of the pommel. Grip with moulded decorations. One of the legs marked in gold 'B . V' inside, for Benvenuto Della Volpaia. length 47.4 cm.
