dating: circa 1800 provenance: Italy, Strong, straight, double-edged blade of lozenge section, base covered with silver foil, engraved with floral and geometrical motifs; silver, engraved, 'S'-quillon; wooden grip with longitudinal grooves, turban-shaped pommel, decorated with thin staves, partially braided bands and with silver nails; silver cap and ring-nut. Leather scabbard with silver mounts, the cap decorated with a trophy and spirals, chape with floral motifs. length 26 cm.
