ATTIC RED-FIGURE OINOCHOE
Manner of the Shuvalov Painter, ca. 430 - 420 BC; height cm 19,5; With a trefoil-shaped lip, decorated with the figures of two draped women, standing and facing each other; the one on the left offers a casket to the other one, who holds out a mirror on the right hand and a basket on the left one. A band of pod shaped band runs outlines below the neck and the main decoration. Elaborate palmettes and spiral tendrils below the handle.
