Designed in the 1970s, this chair, combining metal and fabric upholstery, is one of the iconic creations of Brazil's most famous architect and designer.

After a dazzling debut in 2013, marked by a record auction of $400,000 for Untitled (Drawings off the Wall) from 2011, the Colombian artist Oscar Murillo (born 1986) had witnessed a decrease in its price index. While it had fallen by 60%, its index has now returned, according to Artprice, to its 2015 level.

Brooklyn-based British painter Oscar Yi Hou (born 1998) has been announced as the third recipient of the annual UOVO prize, granting him a cash prize of $25,000 along with a solo exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum sometime later this year. Yi Hou creates vibrant portraits and self-portraits with varying mediums.

Brazil released the list of artworks damaged in protest this past Sunday in the capital of Brasília. A clock by Balthazar Martinot given by France to King Dom Joao IV in the 17th century, Mulatas (1962) by Emiliano Di Cavalcanti and the UNESCO-protected Oscar Niemeyer buildings themselves are among the damaged works.
