The co-director of MAD, Olivier Gabet, will stage the oeuvre of the world’s most celebrated shoemaker in an exhibition at the Palais de la Porte Dorée, a spot cherished by Christian Louboutin and of which he is the primary sponsor, as he discussed in a recent interview with La Gazette.

A leading Norwegian painter, he made his career outside his homeland at the end of the 19th century. This painting illustrates the technical sophistication and refinement of his brushwork.
