Alina Szapocznikow (1926-1973)

“The Angel of bad taste”, as his critics referred to him, is joining Hervé Loevenbruck’s roster. The Jacques Callot street gallerist intends to revitalize the image of the French painter (1898-1993), forgotten by the art world since the late 1980s, as he managed to do for the work of Alina Szapocznikow.

The Paris gallery owner promotes a fringe of current creation that could shape a new definition of the avant-garde, and fights for French artists to be recognised on an international scale.
