Experts at the National Galleries of Scotland discovered the self-portrait of a bearded Van Gogh in a brimmed hat and wearing a neckerchief underneath cardboard and glue on the back of his Head of a Peasant Woman. They said it may be possible to reveal the portrait but it would require delicate conservation work. (BBC)
