Montserrat-born, Ryan is known for her monumental, realistic sculpture of fruit and seeds from the Caribbean. Living between New York and London, the 66-year-old sculptor was featured in the 2022 Whitney Biennial and in 2021 received a commission to create a monument for the Windrush Generation in London.
