Two engravings assumed to be by Albrecht Dürer discovered in a medieval monastery library in Goch, Germany

Archivist Laurenz van der Linde found the engravings between the pages of books by Johannes Gerson. They most likely depict the author. Although unsigned, they are presumed to be Dürer’s, as a signed copy of one was sold at auction last year. Monastery statutes rule against the new discoveries being sold (Monopol).
