Two Aboriginal Artworks by William Barak Will Go Back to Australia

Created in 1897 by William Barak, an important Wurundjeri artist of the 19th century, a painting and a shield, offered in a New York auction, were acquired thanks to the participation of the Victorian government, which stepped in to complete an appeal launched by his descendants for donations launched in April.
