Thanks to the help of the Société des Amis du Louvre, the museum was able to purchase a Giambattista Tiepolo at a private sale. It is a fresco of over 3 meters high, depicting Juno in the midst of the clouds, which originally decorated the ceiling of a Venetian palace before being detached. Its price is not known.
