The oil on canvas by the German master from Memmingen, long considered lost, was sold for €3.4 million at Artpaugée in Toulouse in February 2022. The Louvre Abu Dhabi, which owns its counterpart, has just been confirmed as the buyer. The two works are now reunited there.
