The Doyen of French Galleries, Claude Bernard, Has Died

Claude Bernard was one of the most prominent gallerists in France. After a long struggle with illness, Bernard passed away on Wednesday at the age of 93. Since his art debut in 1957, many hefty names have passed through his books, amongst them Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Giacometti and many others. (LeFigaro)
