The 20th Edition of Quartier Art Drouot Spotlights Drawing

On 04 June 2021, by Vanessa Schmitz-Grucker

On June 16, galleries in the 9th arrondissement of Paris will join forces for the 20th Biennial "Quartier Art Drouot."

The route through rue Drouot, rue de la Grange-Batelière, rue de Provence and the passages Verdeau and Jouffroy adopted the themed of drawing. Galerie AB is exhibiting a retrospective of works by artist John Ferren (1905-1970), one of the earliest abstract artists of the American avant-garde. This year, Quartier Art Drouot is hosting foreign galleries, such as that of Philippe Heim (Brussels), eager to join this huge drawing event led this year by Drawing Now and Dessin, the Salon du Dessin having been postponed until the end of the month. The event is also part of the drawing sales taking place at the Hôtel Drouot.
