Sheikh Hamad Bin Abdullah al-Thani - cousin of the Emir of Qatar and prolific collector - had accused the New York and Geneva-based dealer of having sold him two fake antique statues for $5.2 million. Although their authenticity remains undetermined, the complaint was rejected by the UK Court of Appeal.
