Sadly Acclaimed Art Critic, Peter Schjeldahl, Dies at 80

Published on , by La Gazette Drouot

Schjeldahl served as the head art critic at the New Yorker since 1998. In this position, he addressed an enormous breadth of exhibitions around the city of New York. Having begun his career as a poet, his style differentiated itself from most other art criticism: it was accessible, beautiful, and melodious. (NewYoker)
