Monumental "architectural" clock illustrating La Victoire de la Science (The Victory of Science), chased gilded bronze with a shaded brown-black patina by Robert Osmond, gilded bronze base by Balthazar Lieutaud, dial signed by Lépine in white enamel by Joseph Coteau, 1789-1790, 55 x 56.3 x 15.7 cm (approx. 21.65 x 22.17 x 6.18 in).
