A rare, pristine first edition hardback copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone could sell for £100,000 at Hansons Auctioneers in the UK, on March 9. The “brand new”, never opened and still in its original protective sleeve, hardback is one of only 500 copies of the first print run released in 1997.
