Preservationists Campaign to Save Henry O. Tanner’s Home in Philadelphia

The Friends of Henry O. Tanner House have launched a campagin to save and restore Tanner's childhood home at 2908 West Diamond Street in Philadelphia, which received National Landmark Status in 1976. The American artist was one of the first Black artists to be internationally recognized in the 20th-century.
