This distinction, awarded by Les Rencontres d'Arles and Kering, honors the career of the doyenne of humanist photography. Born in Switzerland in 1924, she moved to Paris in 1946 to become Willy Maywald's assistant, then joined the Rapho agency. Her work will be exhibited at the gallery Les Douches in December.
