Weeks after disappearing, Peter Beard is still missing. No evidence has come out, so far, to explain what happened to the photographer, aged 82, who was last seen outside his Hamptons home on March 31st. His family explained yesterday in a statement that "each passing day darkens the prospect of his safe return".
