The building, constructed in 1724 by a student of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, began welcoming artists from Italy and abroad on May 8. Italian businessman Flavio Misciattelli created the foundation, wishing to establish a dialogue between the Chigi Zondadari family and contemporary art.
