Painting Stolen in Spectacular Art Heist Could be a Rembrandt

Five Old Master paintings were audaciously stolen from the Friedenstein Palace in Gotha, Germany in 1979. Only recovered in September 2019, one of the paintings, “Old Man”, is now suspected to be a genuine Rembrandt, having previously been attributed to his student, Ferdinand Bol.
