New York: Based in Chelsea, Aperture Moves to the Upper West Side

The non-profit foundation, dedicated to photography since its founding, notably by Ansel Adams in 1952, is moving to Manhattan's UWS  across from the Museum of Natural History, in a building that will house a bookstore, an exhibition space and the organization's offices. It is expected to open in 2024.
