New Union in Georgia After Series of Sackings Suspected to be Politically Motivated

The Union of Science, Education and Culture Workers of Georgia is fighting sackings by culture minister Thea Tsulukiani. 40 workers were fired from the Georgian National Museum last week. Fired senior curator Maia Pataridze said the new management mentioned her social media posts criticizing the government. (ArtReview)
