Nazi-looted Renaissance sculpture returned from Italy to Germany

Art dealership A.S. Drey was forced to sell its collection under Nazi duress in 1936; Andrea della Robbia’s sculpture of Mary Magdalene, bought by Hermann Göring in 1941, ended up in the Uffizi. On February 21 Italy’s Culture Minister handed the work over so the German government can restitute it to the rightful heirs.
