Léopold Sédar Senghor's House in Normandy Will Open to the Public in September

The former Senegalese president's home, where he died in 2001, will open to the public for the first time, according to the wishes of his second wife, Colette, on the occasion of Heritage Days, the Verson town hall said. The couple spent their summers there since 1957, before moving there full time in the early 1980s.
