The sculpture, a collaborative work built over several years, was created in Milly-la-Forêt (Essonne) in 1969. The CNAP has been responsible for its conservation since Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle donated it to the state in 1987. Restoration work began in March and is scheduled for completion in May 2022.
