With 50-odd works, the Musée Jacquemart-André is giving visitors a chance to see and understand the art of Giovanni Bellini, the forerunner of Venetian “colore.”

Those who love the art of Giovanni Bellini (c. 1435-1516) can rejoice: the precursor of the Venetian school of painting is finally the star of an exhibition in France. Subtitled "Influences croisées” (“Cross-Influences”), it provides an opportunity to see and understand the master’s work in the light of his multiple sources and formative inspiration.
