George Tsutakawa’s "Gates," Stolen in 2020, Remade by his Son Gerard

Published on , by La Gazette Drouot

Almost 45 years after their installation at the Washington Park Arboretum, two 20-ft wide bronze gates were stolen and destroyed, to be sold for scrap. The Arboretum Foundation raised over £150,000 in a year, allowing the artist’s son Gerald Tsutakawa to recreate the gates, to be installed this year. (UW Mag)
