Man Ray’s intriguing 1972 creation Pêchage, a wooden box featuring artificial peaches against a painted backdrop, fetched €127,400 at Drouot yesterday, more than 4 times its high estimate. The work is from the Lucien Treillard Collection, sold by Christophe Joron Derem in a 2-part sale that began on Tuesday.
