Victor Charreton (1864-1936), a painter from the Isère region of France, is an institution in Auvergne, and with the Vassy-Jalenques Auction House too, since the first major sale of his works in Chamalières in 1996. This time there are 37 paintings, coming from the estate of a private individual and the artist's family, together with 30 others by his friends of the Murol School. All of them had the same goal: to paint nature as closely as possible from life. They thus followed in the footsteps of the Impressionists…
