Photographer, author and curator Deborah Willis the $200,000 the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art’s Don Tyson Prize, which is earmarked for an individual or institution in the U.S. working in any medium “who is moving art forward.” Willis focuses on cultural histories envisioning the Black body, women and gender.
