An American painter who lived in Paris since the 1950s, Shirley Jaffe (1923 - 2016) was a leading artist of the "second generation” of abstract expressionism, which included her friends Sam Francis and Joan Mitchell/ The exhibition- from April 20th - August 29 - features paintings, studio notes and archival material.
