California man sentenced in art forgery scheme

Philip Righter of California was sentenced to 5 years in prison for attempting to sell forged works by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat for more than $6 million to a gallery in Miami, according to the AP. Selling forgeries from 2016-2018 Righter faked provenance and other documents to deceive buyers.
