Yesterday a 15th-century book of hours for the use of Paris double its estimate, selling for €63,700, in a sale rich in precious books and beautiful bindings. Later in the afternoon, Les Dockers à Gênes, an oil painting by Victor Tardieu, fetched €180,740 from an estimate of €30,000/50,000.
