The handwritten text of the song Starman, a hit from the 1972 album Ziggy Stardust, was sold for £203,500 (€227,000) last Tuesday at Omega Auctions. The auction house, which specializes in music-related auctions, had estimated the work at £40,000. It was acquired by the Museum of Old and New Art, based in Tasmania.
