Acquired in November for $34.9 million by Eduardo F. Costantini, at a record price for the artist, the Diego y Yo canvas becomes the most expensive Latin American artwork in history. It is currently on display at the Malba in Buenos Aires, founded in 2001 by its new owner - a first in 25 years.
