On February 26, Drouot Estimations will present a recently rediscovered portrait of the dog Minnay, painted by Manet in around 1879 as a gift for her owner. The tableau – estimated at between €220,000 and €280,000 – was previously unknown to the public, having been in the family’s hands for over 140 years.
